This week we're taking a break from our regularly scheduled programming to share out a tool that's been essential to me as a founder.
As a generalist *and* founder, I’m a sucker for a great tool. The one I reach for the most these days is Sublime.
As founders, we’re constantly thinking, “Oh, I’ll remember that!” (I won’t) or “Oh gosh, I’m going to lose something” (I will).
Sublime is the easiest yet most impactful way I’ve found to to collect my thoughts, organize notes and inspiration, group similar ideas, and find space for both reflection and action.
I know there’s a lot of places to keep track of things digitally — but what feels so unique is that in Sublime, it’s not just for saving something, but saving it and allowing it to connect to other thoughts.
For example, I keep a collection for unique ways of working alongside best practices. I have a collection on building oAT that captures both the tactical and ineffable. And when I want to brainstorm or reflect or strategize or take action, I have one place where I’ve collected my interconnected thoughts.
It’s also great as we build our team processes. As we save ideas and insights to different collections, we can start to see best practices and processes we want to use coming together. Plus, collections are sharable, which makes it easy to collaborate and see what everyone’s thinking.
For a first hand look at how I Sublime as a founder, I'm excited to share this interview with Sublime's Head of Creative
.See you next week for our regular programming!
